Exterior
New Sacred Heart Parish: This is the first new church built by the Boston Archdiocese in over 50 years. The project was a complete replacement of the original historic church lost in a fire in early 2000.

Mr. Tarbell was intimately involved in the 50th anniversary historical restoration of Boston’s Hatch Memorial Shell. The $4.2 million project involved restoration of the historic fabric of the exterior dome, stage, interior facilities, new acoustics as well as below ground utility support systems.

The Greater Lawrence Regional Vocational Technical High School project consisted of a 200,000S/F renovation and 115,000S/F in new construction. Completed in 2004, it was the largest public school construction project to date in the Commonwealth. Photo Courtesy of DRA Architects
MOUT
The Military Operations and Urban Training Facility at Fort Bragg, NC was a mock city built to train US soldiers for urban combat. The comprehensive project consisted of a church, apartment and condominium complexes, a gas station, retail stores, fire station, a school, and several other buildings.

The Needham, MA High School project consisted of both new construction and renovations to existing buildings. 120,000 S/F of new construction including new academic space a cafeteria and kitchen, new library, and an auxiliary gymnasium. The project also included 100,000 S/F of upgrades to existing property.
OLDSOUTH
The Old South Meeting House in Downtown Crossing went through a significant $4.4 million historical preservation. Everything from preserving the historic landmark to expanding the underground capacity by extending the basement down three stories underground was involved in this historic project. All done while preserving this piece of our history.

Wachusett Regional High School, Holden, MA: A complete site redevelopment of over 40 acres on a mountain side including roads, parking and several athletic fields encompassed the Wachusett Regional High School project. Coming in at over $60 million, this project was one of the largest municipal projects in Massachusetts.
